He has sat in for a song or two on drums in the past, but I was excited, nervous, giddy… all the emotions a proud father would feel and he totally killed it!Thank you to the AMAZING capacity crowd at Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts for rockin’ the house with us and sharing this incredible moment in time with me.

@louisprimajr is a rad dad to two sons, and about 10 years ago he quit his lucrative day job to pursue music full time. You can't blame him for following in the footsteps of his own late father, Louis Prima Sr. - THE KING OF SWING - entertaining is built into the Prima family DNA. Louis' leap of faith paid off, and today he is carrying on his dad’s legacy so many years later by bringing his own uplifting music to people all over the world. His live shows are like none other! ⚡️

Louis tells us about how he instilled a moral compass in his two sons through modelling that behaviour and being thoughtful about discipline. He also spoke about the joy he gets out of his kids’ accomplishments, especially their creative endeavours; one son is a musician and the other is an artist. And he shared some insights on his journey as a single dad.

And of course we talked about what’s next for Louis and his band, the Witnesses. They have a ton of tour dates coming up through the rest of 2023. Louis also talks about their upcoming 3rd record on @officialwarriorrecords that was unfortunately delayed because of the pandemic. And on that note, we discuss a duet that will be featured on that album, with none other than Louis’ late father, using the @capitolrecords master recordings for...which song? You'll have to listen to find out!

50 years ago today with the second overall pick, the New Orleans Saints drafted #ArchieManning!
This photo was taken that same year (I don’t know where it was taken though)
My father was a HUGE football fan with close friends like John Madden and George Pernican. We had moved back to #NewOrleans in 71 and my father was ecstatic that the @saints had signed Manning. (And likely even more excited to have a chance to meet him).
I always thought my father was larger than life… size wise, until I outgrew his suits and sports coats, and got this picture.
What a #football dynasty the Manning family has produced, and I can’t wait to see what Arch Manning has to offer once he hits the @nfl .
Side Note: Did you know that Archie Manning was drafted by @mlb teams 4 times?
